Perforated Window Films
Give your brand a boost with one way vision

Opening Up The Vision of Sign Options.
One Way Vision Signs are like tinted windows, constructed of perforated materials that allow one-way vision. The heavy hi-tech perforated vinyl film is durable and long-lasting for use on any smooth glass surface. It is also known as “perforated window films”, a vinyl window film made with small holes throughout it so you can see through the material.
Light plays an important role in how this material looks when applied. When used on a window, only the graphic will be seen from the side with more light and from the darker side of the window, you can still see through the window with ease. So when the custom decal is applied to the back window of a vehicle, you can see out of the rear window easily, but people looking in from the outside see the printed graphic on the vinyl.
At Easy Signs, we offer indoor and outdoor perforated vinyl’s, a 6-mil perforated window vinyl with a clear removable adhesive and a 50/50 (general use 50% removed area and 50% retained) perforation pattern with 1.5 mm holes. If you want more clarity from the inside viewing we recommend the 70/30 (general use 70% removed area and 30% retained perforated pattern). Please note, if vinyl was to be place outdoor with direct sunlight, highly recommend laminating your print for protection among UV light, preventing damage, water proof, or wear of the color print.

How long will it last?
- 1+ years, depending on UV exposure and window wipers (we offer additional products for more durability, up to 3+ years)
- One way vision car window stickers can be laminated for added scratch resistance, durability and protection from UV exposure
Why laminate perforated films?
It depends on desired life span, as well as whether the graphics will be subjected to weathering, including rain. The main reasons for laminating perforated window graphics are: 1) to protect against UV, weathering, graffiti, etc. and increase the lifespan of the graphics (especially when using aqueous inks); 2) to add gloss to enhance the graphics’ appearance; and 3) to maintain visibility through the film by preventing the holes from filling with water when it rains.
How to clean perforated windows?
Washing windows with solvent glass cleaner (Windex) prior to application is not recommended. Windex or other similar window cleaning agents contain silicone and leave behind a residue similar to wax and vinyl adhesives will not stick to wax. Solvent can affect the adhesive on perforated vinyl film causing it to not adhere properly to the glass. This can cause distortion in the image. If using window cleaners with silicone, it is highly recommended to use 99 percent isopropyl alcohol to remove these residues.
